The large community clubhouse features a gas grill cooking area overlooking the canal.
The community fish cleaning station is adjacent to the boat ramp.
The community has three laundromat facilities, the closest just a few steps away.
There is about 30 feet of private wood dock for your boat 8 feet out the back door on the short Oceanside boating canal with no bridges to go under. The dock is partially covered with a roof. Has the gas barbeque grill and outdoor furniture for dock sitting or fishing in the canal. Many manatees frequent the canal and come right up to the dock. Tarpon frequent the canal and have been caught from the dock. This is a great Florida Keys vacation spot and also a perfect fishing/diving get-away. Also available to live there year round. Straight shot down the canal to Hawks Channel, the Coral Reef and Gulf Stream.
The original RV has a stick built addition to it that is as big or bigger than the original
and has reserved parking for 2 vehicles end to end or a vehicle and a boat trailer.
The Condo Association offers extra parking for a small fee.
The step saver full kitchen with gas range has everything you need with full size side by side refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, Margaritaville blender, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, etc. There is also a gas barbeque grill on the dock/deck. The dining room features a wooden top table with four chairs and lots of built in storage.
The unit sleeps four people in two bedrooms, each having two single beds that can be pushed together if you like. One of the bedrooms is adjacent to the living room separated by large folding double doors. Normally we keep one of the single beds in the living room to also serve as a second couch. It can be pushed a few feet to the bedroom if you like but the foot traffic flow to the back door to the canal is better if you leave it in the living room.
The living room has a large comfortable sofa and the TV with Comcast TV Cable. The free high speed internet service is also by Comcast Cable. The telephone service is by Vonage which works off the internet service. Air conditioned. No Smoking Allowed.
The bath room has a glass enclosed shower stall. The towels and extra linens are in the closet in the bath room. The community also has showers that are located in the same building as the laundromat a few steps down the way. That comes in handy if everyone is trying to get cleaned up at the same time.
Look for condo park's sign "Key RV Park" at 6099 Overseas Highway in Marathon, left side of US1 as you drive from the mainland. Between mile marker 51 and 50. Just past 62nd St. Oceanside. Use second entrance marked "West Side". Go to 55W.
$500-$700/week Sat-Sat, $1500-$2800/4 weeks Sat-Sat +tax & $75 cleaning fee. $125/night for extra nights more than an even week. Will quote for longer periods. Rates vary depending on which and how many weeks/months you want. 4 weeks and longer are + electricity, water, & gas for the range and grill. Rates for Holidays and first of Lobster Season may be higher. All time periods less than 6 months are + 12.5% sales/bed tax. Greater than 6 months have no tax. Ask about our last minute specials!
