The Miss Sunshine is a 30' boat with a 12' beam, It has a private toilet, a large top for shade, and open sides for great viewing of the dolphins. There is seating for 22. We take a maximum of twenty two (22) passengers per trip. It is powered by twin engines for a quick trip to the dolphin playgrounds. We provide: cooler with ice for your food and drinks if you would like to bring some.
The most important thing for you to bring is POLARIZED SUNGLASSES to cut the glare on the water to see the dolphins better. You may also want to bring some of the same things you would take to the beach: hat, long sleeved cover up, warm clothing in winter (it can be 10 degrees cooler out on the open water, with the wind chill factor, than on land), cameras, and whatever else you like. You may bring lotion sunblock but it is actually best if you apply it before you get on the boat. Please do not bring oil base sunblock or any kind of sunblock that sprays on--the overspray gets on the boat and could cause you to slip and fall. It is best to wear boat shoes or boat sandals or any good non-skid light colored rubber soled shoes that does not hurt to get wet. It is not good to wear shoes with black or dark colored soles. |
